The 4th of July!!

We had a great 4th of July this year!! We started the day off by going to the infamous Boulder City parade. TJ and I sat in the shade with Kason and Briggy while Marshall went right up to the front and got all the good stuff! He made a friend ("Once a Grandpa, always a grandpa") who helped him get ALL the good stuff. He came back with tons of candy, an awesome hat with the American flag for himself and one for Kason, and popsicles for all the boys!! He really scored, and had sooo much fun doing it! The guy taught him to hold out his hat to get treats, and boy did it work!! I wish I had pictures of this but we didn't bring the camera until the fireworks.:( A little later that day we went to the water park which we go to all the time but we weren't expecting the crazy amount of people that were there!! It was a good way to cool off, but because of all the people we didn't want to stay there long. Then we went for a swim at the Pohe's. Ahh, so refreshing!! After our swim we had a BBQ at the Jensen casa. Aunt Michaun, Uncle Matt, Maylee, Makelle are visiting from Kentucky and, Uncle Kevin, and Aunt Britney were in town visiting from Florida. A ton of Uncle Matt's family were also in town for their sweet baby girl Makelle's blessing. It was sooo much fun to have so much family around for the 4th of July!! We topped the night off with awesome fireworks!! The kids were so tired by the end of the day that we didn't have to fight with them to go to bed!! It was the first night ever that Kason brushed his teeth, went potty all while still sleeping. So funny!! Happy 4th of July!!!

T-Ball

We are sad to see that T-Ball season is over!! It was really alot of fun! Marshall improved exponentially and he loved every minute of it! He had a great coach (That's him giving Marshall a high five as he slid into third!). The weather was perfect and it was fun to see the improvement in all of the kids!!

Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons is over. We had to make quite a drive because the Boulder pool was closed for June and July this summer,(weird timing). Anyways it turned out to be a REALLY good thing!! The weather in June was perfect (record-breaking lows) and the boys REALLY progressed. The pool was really nice and in July when it was ridiculously hot Briggy and I were able to go into the baby pool to cool off. Marshall made it to level 2 and turned into a little fish, until we stayed one day. He went down the BIG adult water slides which he was technically too short to go down. He went down about 4 times, each time with the life guard there waiting to catch him (I was not allowed beyond a certain point) Well about the fifth time he came down Kason REALLY had to go potty so I wasn't there to let the lifeguard know he was coming. Arghh! Kason and I got back in the pool right after he came down the slide but it wasn't enough time to be there when he came out. Marshall struggled a little bit and was really scared. Unfortunately he won't go down those slides again. He also will only swim in the shallow end. Back to square one!! Well, I signed them up for private lessons in August after the baby is born. We'll see what happens!! Either way, they really did improve a ton, and the drive was worth it!!

The Baby Girl Shower!!!

This baby shower was by far my favorite!! All of the little girl things got me soooo excited to be having a little girl!! There was a chocolate fountain with fruit and all kinds of goodies to dip it in!! Everything was perfect (Thank-you Kara and Lisa for putting it together!!) I was spoiled rotten with the cutest outfits!! I am now set to have this little girl!! In one of the pictures you can see how huge my belly is getting!! It is getting bigger and bigger every day!!!
Baby Update
A couple of weeks ago my doctor told me the baby was lying transverse and if she didn't move I would have to get a C-section. Since then she has moved!!! No C-section needed!! Thank-you everyone for your prayers!! I am now 35 weeks along and having no complications!! I will get better pictures of my growing little girl up here soon!!

The Fabulous Bunk Beds

These beauties were hand-made by Grandpa Jensen and TJ. They worked so hard on these and finished them in an astonishing 3 weeks!! Unbeleivable!! There are shelves on one side and a desk on the other side. The boys absolutely LOVE them, and so do I!! Marshall wanted the bottom bunk, so Kason happily took the top. Now we are starting the transition of Brigham sleeping in Kason's old race car bed, so we can put the crib in the baby girl's room. The first try couldn't have gone more perfectly. Since then he hasn't been as interested, so it will take a little more time. We've got 2 months now!!! Anyways, thank-you amazingly talented Jensen men we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these bunk beds!!!

Our Little Graduate

Marshall has graduated from Tiny Tots Preschool and is ready for Kindergarten!! It's hard to believe this guy is headed to elementary school in not too long!! The kids entertained the audience with songs and they had a slide show of what they did during the school year. The best part was when the kids received their diplomas and their teacher announced what each of the kids wanted to be when they grow up. Our high achiever wants to be a garbage man!!! Pretty funny!!

Briggy Turns 2!!

It's hard to believe that this little guy is already 2. Time flies!! Before I mention what we did for his birthday I want to write some 2 year milestones for my own records.

FAVORITE THINGS TO SAY: "mommy watch", "see mommy" or who ever he is talking to.
- "naughty ________," about whoever doesn't do something he wants
- "Is!!" when he finds something he shouts this at the top of his lungs
- "BIG ONE", about anything that is big. When he says this he lowers his voice in a cute gruff tone
- "Mommy love you, Daddy love you", he chants this in his crib again in a low gruff voice
-"Briggy did it!" and "I did it!"
- "Do it again"
FAVORITE SONG: Ever since we went to the Draper Temple open house and we rode the temple bus, Briggy can't stop talking about temple buses. Therefore his favorite song is the temple bus song (This is a song I made up which goes to the tune of I'd like to see the temple.) The other temple bus song is the wheels on the temple bus go round and round, although his favorite is the wipers which go swish, swish, swish. Whenever we pray he always whispers temple bus. It is adorable.
FAVORITE COLOR: green
BRAGGING RIGHTS: He is completely potty trained. He wears Thomas underwear during the day and for naps.
FAVORITE THINGS: His bear bear which he sleeps with every night. He also loves big trucks, especially garbage trucks
FAVORITE BOOK: Bob the Builder, he likes to say "Good job Bob" and "Good job cat" at the end. Every day we hear "Read it Good job Bob!"
RANDOMS: He likes to say everything is "nice" even if it isn't so nice or he is in pain. For example after his 2 year shots he was limping around obviously in pain but if you asked him if it hurt he would say emphatically "NO NICE!!"

Now For the Actual Birthday Party

We went to Chucky Cheese on April 16 (we were still in Canada) and Aunt Kari got Brigham the party package galore!! He had sooo much fun. Chucky Cheese came out and danced for him and he was given balloons and ofcourse spoiled with lots of presents. The best part was the BIG TRUCK CAKE which Brigham whispered every day before his actual birthday. He LOVED it!! It had real trucks he could play with and pretend dirt. It was absolutely perfect for him!! On the airplane ride home Brig got to sit in his own seat because he was now officially 2. He was soooo proud!!
