Fourth of July 2011

This 4th of July was amazing in more than one way. First, the weather was PERFECT 80's during the parade! Second, our cousins came to visit from Kentucky, and third all of TJ's buddies were in town so they came over for a little 4th of July BBQ!

Sylvie liked getting the pretties they handed out for the parade.
Kason was in the parade this year! He was so brave and enjoyed every minute of it!

Mesmorized by the parade. Everyone had an all out water fight toward the end. Next year we will be more prepared.
Brig and his cousin Makelle. Soo cute!

Let the silly string wars begin! After the parade we went to the park and had tons of fun with silly string ...

And confetti filled eggs!

These two became best friends.

Makelle was helping Sylvie get silly string off of her hand. Soooo cute!
We got home and got ready for the BBQ.
Here are TJ's buddies from highschool. All grown up now!:)
Here is the whole crew. Kids and all!!

We watched the fireworks from Grandpa and Babbie's roof...

These pics didn't turn out that great cause I took them from my phone. But, atleast I captured the memory! Happy 4th!!

Baseball 2011

Marshall and Kason played on separate leagues this year which was both good and bad. Good because they were right were they should be with their skills, but bad because all the games were back to back which was hard to juggle with all our kiddos. But we did. They both played great. Marshall played coach pitch which he was awesome at and Kason played t-ball. Marshall was great at getting guys out and he got some awesome hits! Kason liked hitting the ball more than being in outfield but he still had fun. Kason did mention that he liked resting! Lol!

Marshall and his buddy Gregory got on the same team!

Oceanside trip 2011

We had an amazing trip to Oceanside. This was our view from our room...

It was pretty cold (in the 60's) the whole time we were there so we didn't actually spend alot of time on the beach, but we just loved being near it. I took just the boys down one afternoon and they loved piling up sand and watching the waves crash it down! They didn't realize they were freezing until about an hour after the excitement wore off! Sorry no beach pics of the kids. We weren't there enough!

The San Diego Zoo...

The zoo was amazing! Alot of walking, but totally worth it! The kids loved it. Especially the cheetah that talked to them!!

Next Legoland...

Marshall and Sylvie got to bond at the playzone while I took the other boys on some roller coasters.
Brigham loved being the big kid. He especially liked this horse ride cause he could do it all by himself!! We were especially proud of Brigham since he NEVER took a break in the stroller (his older brothers did) , and he walked the entire time like a champ!! All the boys loved the roller coasters. Kason and Marshall got to go on the scariest one at the park and they both loved it!!
Sylvie was a handful! She ran away every chance she got! Here she is trying to get in the wishing well!
The boys loved the LegoStarwars set up that was displayed. It truly was amazing!!

Kason's Tiny Tots Graduation 2011

Tiny tot graduations are so much fun! I loved watching Kason all dressed up in his cap and gown! What a cutie! The only problem was the guy's hat sitting in front of him blocked Kason's face in alot of the pictures! Oh well, we got a few good shots....

like this one when the guy bent over to fix his hat. There is our Kason!!
This is the whole class with their teachers in the back!
I wanted to get a picture solely with Kason and his cap and gown, but his hat was itching his head too much and he refused to keep it on. Can't blame the guy! He kept it on for the whole ceremony!:) Love this guy!
Here are some videos from the big day! My favorite is when the teacher announces what the kids want to be when they grow up. Kason said he wanted to be a policeman, but he told us at home that he wanted to be a Wild Kratts guy, but when he grew up he wanted to be an eye doctor like his dad. Would have been cute if they would have said that!:)

Let's Play Music Recital

Marshall and Kason completed their first year of Let's Play Music. It is a three year program that prepares them to read music and play the piano. Here are some pictures and videos from their recital. There are about 8 kids in each of her classes. Alyson Tobler (the teacher) brought them all together for the recital.

Kason was VERY stage fright and a little grumpy as I am sure you can tell by the expression on his face in many of these photos! He really does know his stuff even if he hid behind the music board like he does in the video below. Marshall just had fun with it and really did a great job. After the recital we played laser tag and later the boys went to a monster truck (motorcycle) show with Grandpa and TJ. It was one long but fun day!!

Easter Adventures

Coloring eggs is always an exciting endeavor! Sylvie really wanted to be a part of the action, and was not happy that she couldn't just dig into the dye!!

The boys had a blast! Marshall was methodical and had a plan. Kason just wanted to get it done! Brig didn't mind leaving the egg in the dye for a really long time. This really showed how different their personalities are!

Sylvie liked using the magic crayon!!
It has become a fun tradition that Grandpa put all of our initials on the eggs!

It took us a while to get this picture of Sylvie because she just wasn't having it! She threw the egg on the floor and cracked it 3 times before we got this shot!
Even daddy got to be in on the fun!
Easter morning came and the Easter bunny came and brought the kids much candy!!

Their cousin Jordyn from Canada came and surprised the cousins Easter morning! So fun!
Some family Easter pics..
The cousins....
We went to feed the fish when Matthew and Jordyn came to visit.

Sylvie ate more of the bread than she threw to the fish!
We went to the park and this is one of my favorite pictures of Brigham and Sylvie. You can just see the excitement on their little faces!
Brigham became fast friends with Uncle Matthew and was really sad when it was time for him to leave. We had a really fun time with Jordyn and Uncle Matthew. We went to the Shark reef, went swimming in our friends' fabulous heated pool and went to the outlets. Matthew also took Kason golfing which he loved! Unfortunately I don't have pictures of this, but needless to say, they really missed their cousin when she left!
