Happy 5th Birthday Marshall!!

We had a bowling party by Marshall's request this year!! It was great thanks to so much help from the family!! He invited only boys who were his age and family and they all had a blast!! The morning of his party I was scared that my amniotic fluid was leaking so I spent the morning at the hospital!! Luckily it was a false alarm. I DID NOT want to have 2 birthdays on the same day!!! Since I was a little frazzled the family TOTALLY helped out!! What would we do without family?!! I can't believe that 5 years ago Marshall was born. He is such an amazing boy!! We love you TONS Marshall!! Happy Birthday!!

The 4th of July!!

We had a great 4th of July this year!! We started the day off by going to the infamous Boulder City parade. TJ and I sat in the shade with Kason and Briggy while Marshall went right up to the front and got all the good stuff! He made a friend ("Once a Grandpa, always a grandpa") who helped him get ALL the good stuff. He came back with tons of candy, an awesome hat with the American flag for himself and one for Kason, and popsicles for all the boys!! He really scored, and had sooo much fun doing it! The guy taught him to hold out his hat to get treats, and boy did it work!! I wish I had pictures of this but we didn't bring the camera until the fireworks.:( A little later that day we went to the water park which we go to all the time but we weren't expecting the crazy amount of people that were there!! It was a good way to cool off, but because of all the people we didn't want to stay there long. Then we went for a swim at the Pohe's. Ahh, so refreshing!! After our swim we had a BBQ at the Jensen casa. Aunt Michaun, Uncle Matt, Maylee, Makelle are visiting from Kentucky and, Uncle Kevin, and Aunt Britney were in town visiting from Florida. A ton of Uncle Matt's family were also in town for their sweet baby girl Makelle's blessing. It was sooo much fun to have so much family around for the 4th of July!! We topped the night off with awesome fireworks!! The kids were so tired by the end of the day that we didn't have to fight with them to go to bed!! It was the first night ever that Kason brushed his teeth, went potty all while still sleeping. So funny!! Happy 4th of July!!!

T-Ball

We are sad to see that T-Ball season is over!! It was really alot of fun! Marshall improved exponentially and he loved every minute of it! He had a great coach (That's him giving Marshall a high five as he slid into third!). The weather was perfect and it was fun to see the improvement in all of the kids!!

Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons is over. We had to make quite a drive because the Boulder pool was closed for June and July this summer,(weird timing). Anyways it turned out to be a REALLY good thing!! The weather in June was perfect (record-breaking lows) and the boys REALLY progressed. The pool was really nice and in July when it was ridiculously hot Briggy and I were able to go into the baby pool to cool off. Marshall made it to level 2 and turned into a little fish, until we stayed one day. He went down the BIG adult water slides which he was technically too short to go down. He went down about 4 times, each time with the life guard there waiting to catch him (I was not allowed beyond a certain point) Well about the fifth time he came down Kason REALLY had to go potty so I wasn't there to let the lifeguard know he was coming. Arghh! Kason and I got back in the pool right after he came down the slide but it wasn't enough time to be there when he came out. Marshall struggled a little bit and was really scared. Unfortunately he won't go down those slides again. He also will only swim in the shallow end. Back to square one!! Well, I signed them up for private lessons in August after the baby is born. We'll see what happens!! Either way, they really did improve a ton, and the drive was worth it!!
