Best gift EVER!!

We had a great Christmas this year. The boys' favorite by far present was this awesome truck, which they can all fit in!! We went to Disneyland this year (more on that later) and all they could talk about on the way there was how awesome this truck is. Can you tell they like it??

Tonight before bed, they asked if they could sit in the truck and listen to some music on the radio, yes it has a RADIO, before bed. I'm thinking this is going to become part of their new routine!! Thank-you again Grandpa and Babbie. They LOVE it!!! It stole the show!!

Ho!, Ho! Ho!

We went to the Ethel M. Chocolate Factory to look at Christmas lights with the Cordermans. It was really cold the night we went as you can tell from how we are dressed. This would have been a really good picture but the nightshot on my camera didn't work the way I wanted it too!!

The kids got to see Santa at the Church Christmas social. Briggy wasn't quite sure about him. When ever he sees someone in a Santa hat he always asks if they have a beard. Very cute!

Kason couldn't wait to sit on Santa's lap this year. Everytime he sits on a Santa's lap he wants something different. I hope Santa can keep up with his lists!!:)
Marshall told Santa he wants army guys and an army truck. He has been consistent since the beginning. Phew!!!
The kids did a great job performing on stage. In this picture they are singing "ooey gooey spices". Can you tell I practiced with them alot. I video taped it too, but it isn't working right now. The best part of practicing for this was that the song boogey woogey choo choo train was on the same cd. They couldn't wait for the cookie song to get over so they could run around the house and dance to boogey woogey choo choo train. Too much fun!!

Marshall gets his adenoids out!!

When Marshall got his adenoids taken out he was very brave. He wasn't scared one bit!! The doctor said he will have less allergies, less snoring and be able to breathe out of his nose, so that's why we got it done. The nurse gave him crayons and papers to color and said he was the best little boy she had ever seen! When we first got there I went into the next room because I had to feed Sylvie. He said "I don't want to go home yet mom!" Several hours later they called us back. The anesthesiologist gave him versed which made him VERY loopy. He said it was standard procedure any kids under 10. It took effect very quickly. He was not allowed to get out of the chair because of his wobbly legs!

He was so peaceful after the second awakening, and very sleepy! I love this picture! He went home and went to sleep after he was able to drink something. After the surgery he woke up and the first thing he said was "they didn't even take my adenoids out." He didn't remember a thing!! It was such an easy surgery. You can't even tell he had surgery, even though he tells everybody!!

Loopy Marshall on Versed... Sorry about the roller coaster! I was trying to calm down Sylvie at the same time

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was awesome!! Aunt April, Uncle Dean, Sam and Ben came to visit. We had not seen them since Kason was a baby!! Since Aunt April is an amazing cook, the food was amazing!! Uncle Dean cooked an awesome Brined turkey, yummy!! Brigham did not want to eat turkey, only BIG chicken. He was happy to eat the "big chicken".

Marshall liked the pie the best, as you can tell by his face!!
Our boys LOVED playing with their older cousins! They thought they were AWESOME (Brigham and Kason's new favorite word.)
Brigham wanted to climb the tree too, but he is not quite big enough yet. Such cool big cousins!
The day after Thanksgiving we went to feed the fish at the marina. Sam caught a carp! EW!! Well, his example made Marshall more brave.
Marshall touched one for the first time!! EW!!

Kason had fun too!! But, instead of feeding the fish, he fed himself!! One for the fish, 2 for him!!

Sylvie watched all the fun from her sling ling. Next year Sylvie, next year!!

Four Months!!

It is hard to believe our little Sylvie is 4 months already!! In honor of this occasion I will list 4 of Sylvie's amazing attributes:

1. She started rolling front to back at 3 months and now she rolls back to front too!! Waay earlier than the boys!! She likes to scratch the surface she is rolling on. She likes to scratch everything!! It's hard to keep up with those nails!!

2. She sleeps through the night. Before the time change she went to bed between 8 and 9. After the time change her bed time gradually kept getting earlier and earlier. She now goes to sleep between 6 and 6:30 and wakes up at 6. This is so nice!! Tj and I went on our first real date (rode the New York New York roller coaster and got creme brule) in months!! We are so happy she is a good sleeper.

3. She is so happy!! Her laugh is infectious and so is her cooing. She really only cries when she is tired or hungry!! She loves her pacifier. She doesn't make a peep when it's in her mouth!!

4. She is the easiest baby we've ever had. I took her with me to a Speech Therapy Seminar I needed to attend. I got dirty looks when we first got there because nobody could believe I would bring a baby!! But, by the end everyone admitted their fears (and to giving dirty looks) and said they had never seen such a well-behaved baby. She also LOVES the sling ling Aunt Michaun gave her. I take it with me everywhere we go. It really does make life so much easier!! We love our little Sylvie so much and still can't believe she is 4 months. Where does the time go??

Soccer

Tonight was the last game of soccer this season. Marshall and Kason were on the same team (the tigers) which was really fun!! Marshall is number 8, and Kason is number 4. They had alot of fun this year!! Marshall scored 4 goals during this game! Marshall LOVES throwing the ball in from the side as you can see with his raised hand!! They got special trophies from Grandpa. Even Briggy got one for feeding the ducks, because that is what they usually ended up doing!!:) Tomorrow they have a pizza party to celebrate the end of the season and they will get another trophy then!! You can never have enough trophies!! Great job boys!!

Trick or Treat!!

This year we let the boys be what they wanted to be for Halloween. When they put on those transformer and superman costumes, they really think they are a transformer/superman. Brigham likes his costume so much that he sleeps in it, and it is quite a struggle to get it off him!! Briggy really thinks he has superpowers. He puts out his hand and he thinks he can stop the wind!!

I got to visit both Marshall and Kason's classrooms for their Halloween party this year. I helped the kids make spiders out of donuts. I got some pictures of Marshall with some of his buddies. It was fun to see them in their classes!

A couple of weeks before Halloween we went to the Haunted Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. It was really fun. My favorite part was the haunted hay ride. I wasn't scary at all!! It was perfect for kids!! Do you see how Marshall plugged his nose?! It was a little smelly!! The boys liked shooting guns at the carnival the best!

Halloween night we went to a fun chilli party at the Larsen's. The kids had a blast!! They practiced the Thriller dance and jumped in a bounce house and were even serenaded by bagpipes. It was great!! Then we went trick-or treating. I was Kanga and Sylvie was Roo. Sylvie was perfect!! Happy Halloween!!

Kason's 4th Birthday Party!!

Kason's birthday was at Bounce-U this year, thanks to Grandpa Schroeder. What a fun party he had. There were tons of things to do so the kids never got bored once!! If they weren't sliding, or bouncing they were playing soccer and making the guy in charge be the goalie!!

I can't believe Kason is 4 already!! He is such a sweet guy! His favorite thing to do is to eat!!:) He is very protective and loving of his baby Sylvie. He still loves Thomas the Train, so that was the theme.
