Snow Update...

This afternoon we went to McDonalds to run off some the kids' energy because it was too cold to go to the park. Bad idea. After the kids played around for awhile we noticed that the snow was starting to come down ALOT harder. It was a real blizzard!! We quickly left McDonalds and slowly drove home. It was unbelievable how much snow was coming down!! We made it safely home but couldn't make it up the driveway (hence the picture). It is really funny in retrospect.

Dad came home early because of the weather and built a snowman with the boys!! They LOVED the snow until their little feet froze!! We really weren't prepared for this weather at all!! They say they haven't had this much snow for 30 years!! The airport and the road to California are closed. There is no school tomorrow because of the snow, and TJ isn't sure if he's going to go in to work tomorrow or not!! Sadly, the weather forecast says the snow will be gone by Christmas.:( As for now, I am loving every minute of it!!

Wooooooooow. How super fun for your kiddos! Maylee really likes their snowman. I am laughing that you grew up in Canada, but you couldn't make it up your driveway. Too funny. Glad your guys have this experience.

I forgot to post, although I did call. ANyway, these pictures are amazing, I am sooooo glad that the boys were able to experience snow in BC, those are some of my best memories from Christmas time as a kid, throwing snowballs (and sometimes iceballs, hehe). Miss you guys!
