Christmas at Disneyland

We drove to Anaheim on Christmas Eve. Our hotel was awesome!! It had the biggest Christmas tree for the boys to run around to get their wiggles out after sitting in the car for soooo long!! They were so excited!! Christmas morning came and off to Disneyland we went. We got there bright and early. So early that we were able to go on the buzz lightyear ride 3 times with no lines!!

This is the scary pumpkin guy from the Nightmare before Christmas that Briggy kept making us show him on the computer weeks before we went to Disneyland. He LOVES this guy!!
Sylvie went on EVERY ride with us. She was SOOO good. She just slept in her sling most of the time!!
One of the highlights of Disneyland for the boys was the Jedi training academy. They picked kids from the audience, gave them robes and lightsavers and showed them how to fight Darth Vader. It was awesome. The only problem was the first time we went they only picked Kason, and not Marshall. Kason had a blast, but Marshall was VERY bummed he didn't get chosen.
Needless to say we went to the Jedi Training Academy twice. While everyone was eating lunch I grabbed Marshall and he was the third one chosen the time we went. He was VERY happy!! Both Marshall and Kason still talk about how they cut Darth Vader's head off. Very funny!!

They even found some treasure on an island they had to walk the plank for!! arg matee!! Oh, and they loved the Pirates of the Caribean ride except Kason really thought they were shooting at him so he ducked to dodge the fire. Very cute!! They still aren't sure what is real and what isn't. I think they thought the animals were real on the jungle cruise. I love their ages and their innocence!!

Brig had a blast just running around everywhere. Can you tell he's having the time of his life by the look on his face?
The lines weren't too bad, but they definitely got worse the later it got. Good thing we got there early and left early!!We waited the longest (45 mins) for the Dumbo ride. Brigham REALLY wanted to go on it!! We did everything we set out to do except the finding nemo submarine ride..next time!

It's Christmas Time!!

The night before "Christmas" they left out cookies and milk for Santa, and opened their jammy present!! We celebrated Christmas a day early this year because we went to Disneyland for Christmas day. The kids didn't know the difference. After they opened presents we took off for California!! The kids had a blast opening presents! Here are a few "Christmas morning" pictures..

Sylvie's first stocking!!

Ofcourse I got Sylvie her first tutu!! Every little girl needs one, don't you think?
The boys worked together opening presents. Briggy was overwhelmed. He was happy playing with the first presents he opened instead of opening new ones!! Marshall and Kason couldn't wait to get to open more and more presents.

Next.... Disneyland!!!

Best gift EVER!!

We had a great Christmas this year. The boys' favorite by far present was this awesome truck, which they can all fit in!! We went to Disneyland this year (more on that later) and all they could talk about on the way there was how awesome this truck is. Can you tell they like it??

Tonight before bed, they asked if they could sit in the truck and listen to some music on the radio, yes it has a RADIO, before bed. I'm thinking this is going to become part of their new routine!! Thank-you again Grandpa and Babbie. They LOVE it!!! It stole the show!!

Ho!, Ho! Ho!

We went to the Ethel M. Chocolate Factory to look at Christmas lights with the Cordermans. It was really cold the night we went as you can tell from how we are dressed. This would have been a really good picture but the nightshot on my camera didn't work the way I wanted it too!!

The kids got to see Santa at the Church Christmas social. Briggy wasn't quite sure about him. When ever he sees someone in a Santa hat he always asks if they have a beard. Very cute!

Kason couldn't wait to sit on Santa's lap this year. Everytime he sits on a Santa's lap he wants something different. I hope Santa can keep up with his lists!!:)
Marshall told Santa he wants army guys and an army truck. He has been consistent since the beginning. Phew!!!
The kids did a great job performing on stage. In this picture they are singing "ooey gooey spices". Can you tell I practiced with them alot. I video taped it too, but it isn't working right now. The best part of practicing for this was that the song boogey woogey choo choo train was on the same cd. They couldn't wait for the cookie song to get over so they could run around the house and dance to boogey woogey choo choo train. Too much fun!!

Marshall gets his adenoids out!!

When Marshall got his adenoids taken out he was very brave. He wasn't scared one bit!! The doctor said he will have less allergies, less snoring and be able to breathe out of his nose, so that's why we got it done. The nurse gave him crayons and papers to color and said he was the best little boy she had ever seen! When we first got there I went into the next room because I had to feed Sylvie. He said "I don't want to go home yet mom!" Several hours later they called us back. The anesthesiologist gave him versed which made him VERY loopy. He said it was standard procedure any kids under 10. It took effect very quickly. He was not allowed to get out of the chair because of his wobbly legs!

He was so peaceful after the second awakening, and very sleepy! I love this picture! He went home and went to sleep after he was able to drink something. After the surgery he woke up and the first thing he said was "they didn't even take my adenoids out." He didn't remember a thing!! It was such an easy surgery. You can't even tell he had surgery, even though he tells everybody!!

Loopy Marshall on Versed... Sorry about the roller coaster! I was trying to calm down Sylvie at the same time

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was awesome!! Aunt April, Uncle Dean, Sam and Ben came to visit. We had not seen them since Kason was a baby!! Since Aunt April is an amazing cook, the food was amazing!! Uncle Dean cooked an awesome Brined turkey, yummy!! Brigham did not want to eat turkey, only BIG chicken. He was happy to eat the "big chicken".

Marshall liked the pie the best, as you can tell by his face!!
Our boys LOVED playing with their older cousins! They thought they were AWESOME (Brigham and Kason's new favorite word.)
Brigham wanted to climb the tree too, but he is not quite big enough yet. Such cool big cousins!
The day after Thanksgiving we went to feed the fish at the marina. Sam caught a carp! EW!! Well, his example made Marshall more brave.
Marshall touched one for the first time!! EW!!

Kason had fun too!! But, instead of feeding the fish, he fed himself!! One for the fish, 2 for him!!

Sylvie watched all the fun from her sling ling. Next year Sylvie, next year!!

Four Months!!

It is hard to believe our little Sylvie is 4 months already!! In honor of this occasion I will list 4 of Sylvie's amazing attributes:

1. She started rolling front to back at 3 months and now she rolls back to front too!! Waay earlier than the boys!! She likes to scratch the surface she is rolling on. She likes to scratch everything!! It's hard to keep up with those nails!!

2. She sleeps through the night. Before the time change she went to bed between 8 and 9. After the time change her bed time gradually kept getting earlier and earlier. She now goes to sleep between 6 and 6:30 and wakes up at 6. This is so nice!! Tj and I went on our first real date (rode the New York New York roller coaster and got creme brule) in months!! We are so happy she is a good sleeper.

3. She is so happy!! Her laugh is infectious and so is her cooing. She really only cries when she is tired or hungry!! She loves her pacifier. She doesn't make a peep when it's in her mouth!!

4. She is the easiest baby we've ever had. I took her with me to a Speech Therapy Seminar I needed to attend. I got dirty looks when we first got there because nobody could believe I would bring a baby!! But, by the end everyone admitted their fears (and to giving dirty looks) and said they had never seen such a well-behaved baby. She also LOVES the sling ling Aunt Michaun gave her. I take it with me everywhere we go. It really does make life so much easier!! We love our little Sylvie so much and still can't believe she is 4 months. Where does the time go??
