The fourth of July is one of our favorite holidays, and it gets better and better the older the boys get! We started the day off by going to the Boulder Damboree Parade.
We sat at the very beginning so the boys got pretty much everything that was handed out!! Ofcourse their favorite thing was the candy, and they definitely score
d in that department!!The end of the parade turned into a full-blown water fight, which was nice because it was ridiculously HOT out there!! This is Brig armed and dangerous!! His favorite part of the parade was the water fights!! Marshall's favorite part was the Shriners in the little cars. Kason's favorite part was the horses in the street. He could NOT BELIEVE they let the horses out of the corrals and into the streets!! He got very excited about this!! "Look mommy, the horses are in the STREET!!!!"
THE BBQ
After the parade we cooled off at the Pohe's pool and had a BBQ. Every year we get together with TJ's highschool buddies for the fourth!! It is always so fun to see everyone!!

FIREWORKS
This year is the first year Marshall wasn't afraid of the fireworks. He even sat up on the fence with the big kids to watch them. We were soooo proud!!
I wish I could say the same for Kason and his buddy Roe! They booked it to the door after the first boom!! Kason was scared the fireworks would fall on him and burn him!! Too cute!!

Wow...I didn't realize the BBQ you invited us to was such a big event! Maybe we'll have to forgo our traditional 4th plans next year and start a new tradition at the Pohe's! Looks like you had a great day!!!
Marshall's face when he is with that clown is priceless! I am glad you guys had such a great 4th. Don't forget we should be coming down the 2nd week or so of August.
Wow, that sounds like alot of fun. Well everything except for the clown, they creep me out. I wonder if we will ever be in town for the fourth?
