So lately Marshall has been really interested in temples. Probably because that is the theme in primary this month and also because TJ and I go once a month switching off babysitting with our good friends the Christiansens. Anyways on Sunday he asked me if we could get a book which showed all the temples, luckily we had one. He spent most of the morning looking at it before church and he had all kinds of questions. He mostly wanted to know which temples daddy and I had visited, it was sooo cute! I love how he loves the gospel already!! Sometimes he will go in his room and just read the Book of Mormon (ofcourse he is really just looking at the pictures) but he really LOVES it!!Because of this new interest in temples we decided to go to the Las Vegas temple for FHE. On the way to the temple Kason asked in a VERY excited tone "Will Jesus be there", it was just too precious!
Well, we knew it was closed on Mondays but we didn't realize all of the gates would be closed too! It's not exactly a hop, skip and a jump away!! Oh well, we were still able to show them the angel Moroni and atleast they got to see the temple up close. We will have to go back again when the gates are open! It was still a neat experience for the kids!!

What a good idea! It is so fun to watch them as they take an interest in different area's of the gospel. I am thinking about making some quiet books for the boys for sacrament meeting....do ya want to do them with me?
Awesome! Great idea too. The temple here is in the same parking lot as the church we go to, so we are lucky with how much we get to see it. I love Kason's comment! Such good kiddos!!
Wow, you guys are doing such an awesome job raising those boys, it is impressive to hear how excited they are about the church & temples. Kason's comment was the best!
p.s. - I like those shorts TJ, Brit and I have been looking for some just like that, now I know where to get them for free next time I come to BC to visit!

What a testament to how well you have taught those boys - especially with your example. I think it is beautiful how our love of gospel things is contagious to our kids. I really enjoyed reading this post. It was really touching.

I noticed your "no baseball" comment on Michaun's blog as well as Marshall's desire, so I figured I would send you the link to Las Vegas's baseball team. TJ and I went to games when we were little there and they were called The Stars, now they are the 51s (like area 51). They are a minor league team but still professional nonetheless.
